We had a fabulous dinner last night at this place. The food was spot on delicious, our favorite was the Serrano yellowtail hamachi. But what truly made the night perfect was the staff. Mickey like the mouse was an awesome server and really made the night special. We could see how busy he was, but he still gave every table including ours amazing service! The manager also stopped by to check in on us which is always a nice touch- she was present and working the floor, but not too much. Well done to the kitchen staff, Mickey like the mouse, and the manager! You all killed it and we thank you for a wonderful evening! Will be back for sure!

Parking is always full in this area so go early or go later at night and you will have a better chance of parking close. There's also a ton of neighboring parking in the event the restaurant parking is full. Reservation is highly recommended but you can usually get in quick at the sushi bar if there is a wait. The restaurant is gorgeous from the exterior, the waiting area and the dining room. There's a large cherry blossom tree lit up on the center of the dining room. The food is a little bit more expensive than most of their competitors but the dining atmosphere, service and food quality is significantly greater, so it's worth the extra money. The curry bacon Scallops, gyoza and monkey brains(not really monkey or brains) are great appetizers. And the baked volcano roll and the ribeye are both incredibly delicious! And the waffle ice cream is the best dessert option imo. This place is quite the drive from palm springs but it's well worth it! It's definitely the best sushi restaurant in the Coachella Valley. And I love love love that they don't have strictly sushi only options like most restaurants do, so when my partner is in the mood for sushi and I am not, I have other options than just teriyaki chicken. Make a reservation and check this place out, it's a must!
