Lucky Dog Training

I'm so impressed with how my dog is now after taking the 2 week stay and train course. She just turned a year old and now listens to the commands and follows them with ease. She was a nightmare before attending. ( pulled while walking, jumping on the counters while her food or ours was getting fixed, and she jut didn't listen to anything) Highly recommend Marko and his techniques.

My rescue lab LEWIS just loooooves Marko Russell! Lewis had a two-week day-training this past May, and he learned a lot, maybe “unlearned” even more, and now after the two of us working for the last two months, we are moving into fine tuning his focus, and walking at the proper “heel” position with an e-collar. I don’t have enough praise adjectives for Marko and his methods, but Lewis sure does - 95# of dog, jumping up and down and running in circles when he sees his Marko! I’d do the same, but that’s probably not appropriate!

We had our 7 month old Belgian Malinois, Judah, with Marko in his 2-week board and train program. We couldn’t be happier with the results!!! We were struggling with Judah barking at people, cars, and other dogs, on our walks. After two weeks, we can say that Judah is MARKEDLY improved! Our walks are much less eventful ;-) We have to continue to work with Judah, but he now has a solid foundation :-) While Judah was at the facility, Marko gave us regular updates and pictures, for which we were very grateful! All in all we are so glad we invested in this program for our pup! The results are amazing!!

I can’t say enough about how much we love Marko. He goes above and beyond to develop and design a training program that works for both my 87 year young mother and her pandemic puppy, Ringo. He attentively listens and quickly assess the needs of both “human” client and “pup” student (or maybe it’s the other way around!). We initially signed up for the two-week Day Training Program and then asked Marko to continue working with us and Ringo two days/week throughout the summer to provide that extra boost and additional stimulation.. My elderly mother has a difficult time walking Ringo so Marko helps her each step of the way. Marko is incredibly skilled and adept at understanding the behaviors and dynamics of everyone involved. He is intuitive and flexible and has adapted his skillful abilities to offer a truly successful experience. We wholeheartedly recommend Marko and Lucky Dog Training. You will not be disappointed!

I am very happy to recommend Marko Russell as an excellent Dog Trainer. He has a gentle demeanor, knowledge, and professionalism. He is very reliable , prompt, and very generous with his time. He is a teacher for the dog, and most importantly, he is a teacher for the owner(s). I am very impressed with this gifted young man! We got our precious golden doodle puppy, Lily, on February 1st at 7 weeks old. She weighed 7.8 lbs and within 2 months she grew to 33 lbs. Lily is adorable, however, she can be fiesty, self-willed, hyperactive, puppy- playful with her teeth and she had an “Alpha” attitude. She left me two long scars when she bit my leg through my slacks. I became afraid of her, and considered giving her away. Marko taught me that I had to be “Alpha”, and she would become more secure and would change negative behavior...and she has! He has been very patient with me, and has taught us the importance of consistency, and simple commands. Marko made us videos of him teaching Lily different behaviors...and how she cooperated and learned. The icing on the cake was his 5 day training program. He took her daily at 8:30 am - 1:30 pm for 5 consecutive days. It gave us a break from puppy behavior, and she came home each day with new, healthy behaviors! We joked that Marko brought us someone else’s puppy!! (Marko also offers a 2nd week daily training program, which I recommend!) We have had 4 previous dogs without training and it seemed impossible to break their barking , jumping at guests, and other negative as they aged. I wish we knew Marko long ago!! We are grateful!!! Lily is the dog that we had hoped we’d have! - Colette Bruno
