I have just discovered that the Assistant Manager, Lex Harrison, has taken my personal information, without my permission, from ANOTHER jeweler he worked for over 2 years ago, and has begun marketing himself at SWG in La Jolla. He has my home address, and without apology, has declined to tell me how he obtained the information from Leo Hamel, his former employer. A quick google search reveals multiple employers and brief terms of employment. While I have contacted Leo Hamel to advise them (their COO was immediately responsive and very helpful), the manager at SWG took my call but indicated no actual plan of action. Mr. Harrison replied via email with NO apology and failed to confirm what information he has retained in addition to my home address, or how many other customers he has done this do. SWG should not be supporting this unlawful and unethical business practice and Mr. Harrison is a disgrace. I would not do business with a company that allows their Assistant Manager to access and retain personal customer information for his own use, long after his termination with former employers.
