Visited in April 2015. High Desert Motel was a convenient place to spend a night on our way to Joshua Tree National Park. We arrived late and left early. The gentleman was waiting for us and left as soon as we arrived. Although we encountered some issues with the Wi-Fi, we were promptly given the password for their private network.

We booked this last minute and the hotelier was very nice. The rooms were clean and convenient. Could have used an outlet by the bed but otherwise all was good particularly for the price.

Cancelled our room the night before our arrival with no warning, and when I called there was no solution (even though I had a confirmation email). Definitely would not recommend.
