We had an amazing day with sue and Wayne. They were great coaches and made everyone feel safe. Beautiful setting. Great climbing. Fun for adults and our 3 girls. Highly recommended!

I just can’t get enough of JTree, this was my third time visiting from San Diego. It was also my third time with Susan as my guide!! Safety is her first priority which makes me feel completely at ease, and we have fun the entire time. She’s crazy experienced and knows Joshua Tree, and climbing, like the back of her hand. I climb at an indoor gym in SD and I love how each time I’ve gone back to Joshua Tree I’m a stronger climber and Susan can take me on harder routes. She’s full of calm encouragement when you’re doubting yourself but never pushes you past what you want to do. Had a blast this trip and will definitely be booking with Joshua Tree Uprising again :))

I did a 6 hour private guide with the owner, Sue. It was an amazing, unforgettable day. I told Sue about my experience climbing and what I might like to learn - and she created a great day for me, that was exactly what I needed. It was also great to learn some of the technical aspects from someone so experienced and knowledgeable - it gave me a lot more confidence than just learning from friends. And she didn't talk about the grades of the climbs much, which was really refreshing after all the grade-chasing talk I've experienced at the gym. She was also just fun and a cool person to spend the day with!

A few months ago we went to Joshua tree to do some climbing with my gf. We booked the 4 hour class with Uprising Adventures and it was a blast. Ali was our guide, he was so knowledgeable, thorough, and an excellent coach, we always felt extremely safe and could not have asked for a better guide.. We not only got to climb some awesome routes but Ali also gave us a little intro to anchor building, which was a great building block to outdoor climbing. I Highly recommend Uprising adventures with our wonderful guide Ali !

We had a great experience for our first time climbing! Our instructor was Wayne and he was excellent! He was very outgoing and positive. Always teaching us proper form and letting us know how we can improve while climbing. I highly recommend heading out with Wayne.. thank you for making our first experience memorable and keeping us safe!!
