Place an online order for a shoe for my mother -in-law that gave $9 off a $90 shoe size 7 last night. Went to the store to pick it up with mother-in-law as it was her bday present. While in-store she tried the shoe size 7 and I was sliding off, so she end up getting the size change to 6.5 the guy, who helped her last night did had to adjust the price again by $9, once my husband showed him the online order price.
However, the problem started as once my mom got home and tried the shoe with socks then it was too tight, so she went back today in the morning with receipt and shoe to get the size changed to 7 then a representative Taylor start giving her hard time and said that these shoes are excluded from all the discount and the person, who helped you yesterdays is going to be in big trouble and I cant give you the same price and how my mother-in-law had to pay the difference of $9 if she want to change the size of the shoe. My mother-in- law was basically shewed away. My mother-in-law end up just returning the shoes as Taylor wont match the HUGE $9 difference( being sarcastic). Once I called Taylor to ask why did she do that then she told me to call specter customer service as she has no way to match the price of that shoe.
I called sketcher customer service and I shared all the information regarding my order and my experience and they apologized for inconvenience and told me that Taylor doesnt know all the policy and it would get corrected. As I dont want this happening to other customers.
Basically this store has untrained representative like Taylor, who do not care about customers. Taylor could not bother ask for help from management instead she just make the customer return the items to make thing easy for herself. Please train your employees and dont hurt your customers.
