Convenient place for us to get tofu soup. Food is good, comforting. Not enough protein in the soups, though. I remember more seafood or meat last time we went. The pandemic and inflation may be causing them to reduce the amount of "stuff" they're putting in the soup.We had the seafood pancake, which had a lot of seafood in it. The sauce that came with is good and helps the meal.Service is "ok." It's seems like all asian restaurants, the servers just doesn't seem like they want to be there. "Here's your food. Eat it and go."I would go back, cause the food is just so comforting.

There are a good number of Sundubu options in Irvine, but Kaju ranks up there with the best of them. There are a few different Kaju Soft Tofu locations in the OC, but this particular one can be found in Orange Tree Square at the corner of Walnut Avenue and Jeffrey Road. I've observed that service isn't top priority for many local Korean restaurants, so I was pleasantly surprised when the staff was friendly and attentive. Every Korean restaurant serves different small side dishes (banchan), but I appreciate the selection that Kaju offers. Only thing missing was the small fried fish which I read about in others' reviews. I prefer to stick with the "tried and true", so I usually order the combination meal with b.b.q. beef rib and pork tofu soup which is always a solid choice. Crack that egg over the sundubu while it's boiling hot, don't forget about the onions underneath the ribs, and you're good to go!

Lived in Irvine for most of my life and only recently I found this place. The food is very good not too spicy and the service was very friendly. This place isn't too loud except for dinner time. The server was really friendly and always smiling. He even gave us bunch of refills on our side dishes. I would recommend this place 10/10
