Lucca Cafe

My wife and I visited Lucca Cafe for a late lunch on Christmas eve-eve. We found parking easily and were quickly seated. Both the host and the waiter were professional and friendly. I had the "Sunday Sauce" without cheese. My wife had the Short Rib Bordelaise; both with salads. Both were incredible, although I kind of wish they had served some bread so we could have sopped up some of that great sauce. Very reasonable prices. A hidden gem to which we will definitely return.

Every time I go, I complain that I don't go here often enough. Outstanding food which is served in small plates that are meant to be shared. Great wine list that is reasonably priced. the owners Kathy and Elliot Pavlos have sold this restaurant. It currently keeping its name but will only be open for lunch until the new owners launch their Italian concept. Sad to see it go

I love the bechamel sauce lasagna, the little jars of gorgonzola with toasts for a starter, and not to forget the Lavender lemonade. Always a treat to eat here because it is a little pricey.
