If you are buying this product, be prepared to buy plenty of hardware that is either wrong or not there.  The parts I got in my 480c kit was suppose to be 1/4 O.D. but I received a 3/8" fitings for hooking up the air compressors.  So off to the hardware store.  No hookup for 1/4" for installing the ONE quick hook up for the air hoses. Etc, etc........  The 3/8" hose for the air lines were coiled and when I tried to uncoil them, they would not uncoil without BREAKING.  I am hoping the compressors, tank, etc have better quality but it will be awhile until I  post because I am still running back and forth to the hardware store.

Anyone that has owned a Class A MotorCoach knows that having a solid maintenance program is one of the most important things you can do. If I had to rank the preventative maintenance task in order of importance I'd have to put tire maintenance at the top of the list. Maintaining proper air pressure is no easy task, my RV runs on Michelin 275/80R 22.5 Tires and requires an air pressure of 110 psi - good luck using your automotive duty air compressor or shop compressor to get the job done. After doing extensive research and through some trial and error I realized my garage air compressor wasn't going to do the job I was asking of it and even though my MotorCoach already has two onboard air compressors that has 150 psi capabilities for the air bags and braking system these too struggled to meet the demand. Honestly I tried these options trying to avoid buying another air compressor and also to keep from having another system to maintain, well sometimes nothing can substitute having the right tool for the job and these exercises I put myself through lead me to the right solution, the Viair 450P-RV Automatic Portable Compressor with 100% duty powered by my 12 volt chassis batteries so I'm never without a vital air source.This little powerhouse is deceptively powerful for its size and the quality of the entire system is quite impressive and complete - from the quality storage bag that holds all the components this is a complete solution. The kits includes everything you need to get started right out of the box - air compressor, sixty feet of high pressure coiled air hose with quick disconnect fittings installed, quailty trigger inflator / deflator complete with high quality 160 psi dial gauge, screw on valve stem connector, push on inflator as well as a small variety of inflator fittings and finally 12 volts cables with battery clips. The 100% duty ensure one hour of continuous use before a mandatory cool down period I highly recommend this option especially for RV use. I initially thought this tool was a little expensive but after using it, it's a total bargain and something I consider essential...

Exceptional customer service and products. Ironically, VIAIR is very close to the retirement community where my mother resides. I received, as a gift from my wife, a VIAIR model 40043 400P to be used for those times with I visit my elderly mother and routinely check her vehicle and tire pressures. This unit makes quick and easy work of doing just that. The unit is such a seriously well-made tool that I now travel with it on long distances. VIAIR is a company that unequivocally backs its products.
