Salus discharged and cut my elderly mom's home health care services without letting us know the nurses just abruptly stopped coming! what ? why? how ? wow ! No closure, no guidance, no communication. How many patients have you done this to? wow! I left multiple messages to the home health so called coordinator she never returned a single call.
I tell you my heart goes out to the elderly population they seem to be the forgotten population.
The only person that stood out was the Physical Therapist, very caring, always responsive and very communicative.
Very disappointed once again with these facilities that are supposed to help the sick and the elderly. Yuck. :(

Quincie Novella, our case manager, and Leticia who helped staff the caretakers, truly went above and beyond with their attentiveness during such a difficult time for my family. Quincie made herself readily available to answer my many many questions about care. Big thanks to Jennifer, our RN, and to Simon, the bath aide, as well.

After a neighbor informed me that my sister had fallen in her Orange County, CA. home, I (who live on the East Coast) knew I needed IMMEDIATE help. I found Salus and a couple other home health agencies on Google. The first one I contacted wanted me to set up an email account; Salus gave me a phone number. I told the receptionist at Salus that I had an emergency and the entire team sprang into action.
Quincie (Case Manager) was at the condo taking a case history and drafting a care plan WITHIN 30 MINUTES. Meanwhile, Leticia (Administration) acted as communications hub and expedited the necessary paperwork, so that Jennifer (Staffing) could line up the caregivers we would need.
Within TWO HOURS of my initial contact we had a caregiver at my sister's home with necessary medical equipment and supplies on their way to the door.
Amazing performance. Bravo, Salus team!

Salus home hospice care did an excellent job for us. Our RN, Myrna, was attentive, caring, and compassionate. The other staff and night and weekend nurses were also very helpful and resourceful. Any equipment, supplies, or medications were provided promptly. We are appreciative for everything they have done. Thank you for helping us through this difficult time.
