Frijoles Mexican Restaurant

Ordered two plates of the chilaquiles, and a side of hashbrowns. 2 pineapple agua frias. The waters were good, seem to be authentic. We asked if chilaquiles had onions and were reassured no onions on one plate. Food came eggs were overcooked, has browns never arrived, chilaquiles all had onions. Id give a higher rating but service lacked. Staff was busier wiping down the phone, and empty containers than checking into patrons. Sadly we fly to LA often and were hoping to find a place near LAX worth while this is not it.

Some of the best chilaquiles I've had. Get them with the chipotle sauce, and ask for extra sauces (they bring them out in smaller plastic bottles) for your breakfast - it's so good! I can't speak for their other food, but this is my go-to whenever I'm here (like 2x a month lol) Also, they have delicious cafe de olla.

Friendly bartender, good food. I had the quesabirria which was excellent. Offered hot sauce or mild- went for hot and was given two choices- habanero or smoky. Both were very good but super hot/authentic. Would return.
