Went in today to use a gift card. Was told they stopped taking them July 11th. Now I rarely ever shop here plus since the pendemic and everything is off and on open i really havent been shopping besides grocery shopping. I have a comprimised immune so i do go out to public shopping areas. I told the clerk i didnt know they stopped accepting them. She replied its been posted for a month. Well since the pendemic unless its announce on the news or an email or social media post I would not know that. I feel they should give more time with gift cards since there is a pendemic going on. Now Im stuck with a gift card that still says I have money on it when i called their gift card services. I called customer service line and no help either just a automated service thats no use to anyone. So dissappointed in this store!!

Dont get me wrong I love pier one and am very sad that they are
Closing
I showed up at 6:45 after work because they advertise that they are open until 7.
there was a sign at the door that said we close our doors at 6:30.
Just keep in mind that if you want to go to the store that you should get there at least 30 mins before store closing since they dont actually stay open until their posted hours.
