I want to like this bar, I really do. It's my kind of bar and I live a block away basically. Sports/dive bar, really relaxed atmosphere, the manager Dan is a really cool guy (he gets a 5-star rating)! But here's why the bar is getting a low rating: service. The bartenders are bad. It may take you a long time before they stop chatting with their friend and turn around to even notice you're there. Their check-in timing is poor, having finished my drink a long time ago and waiting to order another. The cocktails/martini's are terrible, not because of poor ingredients, but because of poor crafting of the recipes. This is all in general. I once had a bartender that was great! It was a late tuesday night and he was fantastic. On point with everything. Friendly, entertaining, hospitable, and made excellent drinks. This bar has so much potential if they only trained their bar staff better. Training them to "tend bar." Timing, awareness, pour count, and how to properly craft a balanced cocktail.

If you are looking for a bar to get shwasty at, this is it. Sticky floors, frat boys, beer pong, its got it all. They have a drink special wheel on the wall that a lucky person gets to spin at various times throughout the night and then that is the special for the next few minutes. Its fun but you have to be prepared for what you are walking in to.
