Gabe is a good guy. brutally honest as well. Just be patient with him, he's the only guy working there so bigger jobs might take a little longer. Gabe is a human, just like us and sometimes he'd make mistakes but he has never failed to own up to his mistakes and always willing to fix the problem.
Gabe gets the job done and he doesn't deal with anybody's BS. He may seem blunt sometimes but just remember that he gets things done..

I took my 1966 bug in to have the motor rebuilt after the motor over heated and burned a piston. I talked to Gabe about fixing it. He quoted me a fair price and I dropped it off. When I picked up the car and got home it had a leak so I took it back to Gabe. He said he would fix it ASAP and he did but after getting home again it was leaking for a second time. I took it back and Gabe fixed it again. It turned out he was getting bad gaskets from his parts source. He had to take the motor out a total of 4-5 times until he got a good gasket. The car runs great it has a year warranty on his work and I’m pleased with his work. A lot of shops would have tried to put the blame someplace and not fix the work without more money but Gabe just handled it in a fast time frame. I will definitely bring my car back for future stuff. I recommend him to work on your VW if you need work done.
