Doug is a very skilled backhoe/excavator operator and all around good guy. I can't recommend Gold Country Backhoe enough!

Doug  was hired by us and a neighbor to have our  propane tanks buried.  He was very helpful and coordinated the task very well with county and other services.  The tank process worked out well. HOWEVER, he said he would put needed sand on a parking area we had in front of our house and noted he would drive the tractor over our ground cover of St John's Wort. No mention of potential permanent damage. He moved some ornamental rocks and they were only  put back into position on my insistence. He left 6-18" of sand all over our ground cover and said it would come back soon.  His statement was, I'm an excavator, not a landscaper and did not care a bit. I had to insist that he come and remove some of the sand, which he did begrudgingly.  It is now 6 months later  and we are still removing sand and the yard looks like a war zone.   He brought way too much sand and we are still trying to get rid of it and save our plants.
