I thought it would be a great idea to come here to help a small business in my small town but was I wrong!!! DO NOT GET YOUR TAXES DONE HERE, they lack complete attention to detail. I had my taxes done here during the covid lockdowns. Due to social distancing I was given the option to drop off my tax paperwork so that Mahena could work on my taxes and file them electronically. I provided all w2's, receipts, etc... but she some how failed to report our 2nd child. She said she would submit the correction. She gave me the paperwork to mail the correction myself and decides to charge me an ADDITIONAL $100 for her time to correct her mistake! Say what??!? She said "I didn't tell her." I told her of course I didn't verbalize anything to you. How did she know I worked, or had deductions?? Duh!.. the paperwork clearly showed. If it was too difficult for Mahena because of her lack of attention to detail to look through paperwork then maybe she should have asked me to file in person face to face. I didn’t have the energy to argue so I paid her the $100 for her mistake. I will NOT be returning there ever again. She lost an annual client over $100
