    If I could give them zero stars I would. WORST COMPANY EVER!!! I was never contacted about my alarm going off, just received a false alarm bill from the police. Company said they called and sent an email, I asked them to prove it and they have no proof of either and then refused to pay for the false alarm. Every issue with this company takes at least 3 phone calls. Not only do the customer service people not do their job, the supervisors are not any better. Luckily I am anal and write everything down so I have proof and can tell them exactly what was said and the date of the recording they need to go back and listen to. At the end of my 2 year contract I called to cancel and they said I was still under contract. UH NO!! Well it turns out someone (in the company) decided to add an additional 2 years to my contract without verifying it with me. I have already had to call 3 times to get this issue resolved because even though I was GUARANTEED that the problem was handled I was still receiving bills. I have reported them to the BBB and y'all should too. THEY SUCK!

    After I wrote a letter to Monitronics expressing how disappointed I was in their service, they eventually responded and offered me a deal of $17 a month which I agreed to, and things have gone fine ever since. I really haven't interacted with anyone from their company for some time, and there have been no incidents since they changed my plan.

    My contract was sold to Monitronics... Good I kept it... I was not instructed in a lot of things but rushed and distracted to sign my original contract/vendor. However, after 2_+ years, I decided to cancel the Monitronics service. OMG! what a hassle!.... They insisted and persisted, one way or another for me to keep the contract, they lowered the rate, they wanted me to pay penalty for early termination and/or continue paying 50.99 per month. Until I told them I JUST DON"T WANT IT, period. My contract specifically indicates the % that I must pay if I decide to cancel right now. I ask them to do it immediately or I will report them to the BBB or Consumer Affairs Department. Finally, they had not alternative but to read the contract that I had originally signed under OTHER TERMS and CONDITIONS...there it was, I would no have paid one more cent.
