Cantrell Photography

Not the most user friendly website. I seem to have to call annually as something is always missing. But luckily, they are quick to correct/rectify. I don't know if this goes for most school photog businesses, but the quality hasn't changed for the better since I was a student in the 80's. Low lighting, Olan Mills background? I just expected better.

Photo right after recess? No access to a mirror? Not sure who to believe them or my own kid. The past 2 yrs with Cantrell photo through school, my Daughter had a good photo but this year they kind of dropped the ball. Its ok the kids go to recess & play right before their photo if they are given a little guidance with words or a moment to compose themselves to check in a mirror before you snap that one photo choice the family prepaid for. My child told me on photo day she was NOT offered any guidance with words to adjust her bow or a mirror to look in before the photo was taken. Her hair bow is completely DIAGONAL in the school photo, not horizontal. I called & a representative, named Amanda, told me directly that my child was LYING, and that she was given access to a mirror. Other parents: Be careful with hair accessory choices on picture day.

Predatory business practices and with terrible photos. I took better pictures with my phone before my daughter went to school and they have the gall to charge $50 for two 8x11 pages of prints from what looks like a printer from the 90s?

The pictures taken are getting worse and worse. The lighting is horrible, I know you require a higher payment for the soft touch but you should be producing better quality without having to pay more. I only buy the picture to support the school. Please train your photographers and maybe more parents would be willing to purchase pictures from your company.
