CF Dance Academy

I have been taking my daughters to CF Dance for 4 years now and there are so many things I love about the studio. The teachers are nurturing to the younger kids, yet set high expectations for behavior (which is what dance class for littles really is for). They build upon foundational skills and challenge students as they get older. They teach independence, responsibility, and respect. They don't pressure parents or students to take classes. The provide feedback to parents - in written form like a report card! They are excellent communicators, which is so important for busy parents. They put on amazing shows that the students LOVE doing! And finally, they allowed my daughters to continue to dance safely during COVID, without which I think they would have gone completely crazy!

It was supposed to be my daughter’s first day. We got in the exit because there are NO SIGNS AT ALL, but the lady told us to go back down and use the entrance even though we’re there inside already. I had to take my 5yr old downstairs and go upstairs again and used the main entrance. When we got upstairs there were 3 parents ahead of me.. And it was my turn to check in, the lady told me that they can’t take me and my daughter because we don’t have a mask knowing she already saw me without one already. Its just frustrating! After that my daughter cried on the way home because she was so excited for her class but ended up getting rejected.

Our daughters have been dancing at CF for 11 years. It has been a great experience for all of us. The teachers do a great job teaching the different dance techniques while still making it fun. We love watching the spring and winter performances almost as much as our girls love performing in them. But the reason I'm finally leaving a review is because CF helped keep some normalcy for our daughters during the whole Covid pandemic. With not much open and not much to do, our girls were still able to participate in zoom classes and when safe they were able to have in person classes which kept them active and busy. Great studio and staff! We really appreciate all that CF has done for our girls and the friendships they've made, or as my daughters call them, their CF Family!

My daughter has been taking classes here for the last 3 1/2 years. She has taken hip hop and ballet/tap classes and she has absolutely loved it. She has grown as a dancer and performer and is always happy to go to the studio. She loves all her teachers and the friends she has made in her classes. During this past year and a half, CF has worked endlessly to make sure that all students still had a way to participate in dance classes safely. They have done a great job of keeping parents informed of all protocols while also creating an engaging space where our kids can continue to dance without any worry. We have always felt comfortable sending our daughter here because they worked so hard to make sure our kids were as safe as possible. We are so thankful that this studio constantly provides our daughter with a positive dance environment, regardless of any outside influence. We are also thankful for all the CF staff who have been so responsive and helpful as we navigate this unfamiliar dance world!
