A Gem of Thailand

Always delicious- we love this restaurant with great food.  We've gone there for years through multiple owners.  Really relaxing after a hectic day, and it is nice to be able to have a conversation and not have to yell over the music or resort to texting.

I was transported into another dimension when I walked into this gem of a restaurant. Beautiful colors everywhere! Very friendly staff! And the food.... It was divine! We love you Gem of Thailand!

This is probably one of my favorite little Thai restaurants in town. The dining room is incredibly small, but the food is delicious, and the service is outstanding.I went here on a Thursday night around 6:30 PM and the place was pretty much empty. There was only one other family that was just getting up to leave when I walked in with my guest. The dining room was clean, there were no dirty dishes in sight. The tables were wiped, the chairs were straight.I've been eating a green curry here for years. I love how fresh it is, and the broth is just outstanding. I think the eggplant was a little bit undercooked, but that did not take away from the delicious flavors in this dish. The drunken noodles was just OK. I've had dishes that were spicier and more flavorful. It also had more grease then I felt needed to be in the dish. I would not order this dish again. But I think everyone should order the green curry. The sweet rice and mango dessert is outstanding. It's a sweet coconut flavored rice topped with mango. What's not to like?Lastly, the service. From the time we walked in to the time we left, we had incredible service. One of the servers actually open the door for us when we walked in, and opened the door for us when we left. We constantly had refills on our beverages, and we're asked several times if we needed anything else. Everybody was just outstanding and incredibly friendly.All in all, this is just a great Thai restaurant.

First of all, you can't find friendlier folks. I ordered a spring roll (came with 2!). And I had the red chicken curry and it was fantastic. I have one more night in Fresno and I'm tempted to come back and try the pad Thai. Highly recommend this little place.
