I've been a resident here at Turning Point, Stasis Center for some time now and have to thank them for giving me a place I call home. That being said there are some guidelines to consider before chosing this place. Pro's: 1. Stasis Center works hard to assure your apartment is in good working condition and furnished with all kitchen, living room and bedroom furnishings, they are contracted with a company that gives you, free of charge, whatever you need 2. Staff are here to help you transition into responsible living free from the homelessness many of use came from. It's your responsibility to take charge of this great opportunity that you were grace with. 3. During the Covid-19 crises we all faced or are endured, Stasis have set their own rules to keep us as safe as possible. During these times, you will not lose your residency due to any and all failures to abide by the rules and regulations set forth, unless outside entities deem it. Con's: 1. If you value your rights & privacy, which is a Federal law, be assured they will be broken but not by Stasis. There is an informent in apartment #J by the name of Jake Smith who has made it known to the public that drugs aren't to be tolerated even though he himself does them. 2. You must take your medication in the presence of staff. They Do Not keep your meds allowing you to abuse them, Mr. Jake Smith abuses his Quantapen on a regular basis causing effects like Methamphetamine. 3. We as tenant's are to keep our apartments clean and tightly. If you've ever lived on G street in Fresno California some apartments here would remind you of such filth. One tenant has gone as far as to set fire in his apartment, with no sanificant charges. 4. There are camera's on the property. You are not allowed to post a camera in your own apartment, only in your own room, which I have and which was posted during the time Mr. Smith made his post to Google Review. 5. The staff here are not required to have any prior experience with medical or mental health procedures. They do there jobs very well. Don't hold your thoughts inside, talk with them and free your minds from it that keeps you a prisoner. Conclusion: The Stasis Center is a welcomed place of gracious residency that thrives for equal residency for all no matter your physical or mental health status. The staff are friendly and helpful in your time of need but are limited as to what they can do. They really need to work on how they run this complex as far as holding residents accountable and investigating here say rather then believing. Personal thought: Be warned, that if you stay here, every action will have an equal or over equal reaction. You did what you did because you had a tantrum. You won't get away with it. You are guilty.
