Do not go to this location. This is NOT pain management. These are NP's ... Nurse practitioners that won't prescribe any opiates but will prescribe you opiate addiction patches. They will falsify your medical chart to get paid by Medicare and Medicaid. They will suggest that you need epidural injections. These injections are not even FDA approved! You can verify yourself on the FDA's website. This is NOT a pain management center, it's a pain interventionist staffed center. Look at the staff's credentials, they hold degrees in PAIN ADDICTION MEDICINE. I just moved here and I'm out of medication since last year but was told by FEMI OBANOR NP, that I'm at A PAIN MANAGEMENT clinic and they DON'T prescribe opiates. I brought xeroxed copies and originals of my past prescriptions but was told they cannot prescribe this to me (in which I've been on for 4+ years). I went to my first appointment and waited one and a half hours before being seen. After my appointment was finished, I was given my after visit summary paperwork, future appointments paperwork, epidural injection paperwork, and some blank forms to have prefilled out for my next 2 appointments. I reviewed the paperwork just to find out they falsified information. It states that I'm going to be receiving epidural injections so that I can go to physical therapy and get back to work sooner... I DON'T WORK. I'M DISABLED. It states that my sex is male. I AM FEMALE. It states that no I don't have any electronic implanted devices... YES I DO. This is illegal for them to falsify documents. They prescribed me BUTRANS TRANSDERMAL PATCH. Upon going to Purdue Pharma's website for this medication, I read that this is not for patients with heart or thyroid conditions. I specifically detailed my health history to them in the 15+ pages packet that I was told to fill out being a new patient. Apparently NOTHING was read/reviewed by anyone in the office. My electronic implanted device was listed under the surgery section of the new patient packet. My sex was clearly marked as female in the packet. Bottom line, don't waste your time going here. Way too many red flags seen in just under 2 hours. If you decide to go here anyways, don't say you weren't warned. Bonus material: their website has a copy & pasted image (Extremely bad quality too mind you, pixelated) of a BBB Accreditation. This too is falsified. You can verify yourself at the BBB's website that Lags Medical Centers is definitely NOT BBB accredited. 🙄🙄🙄
