Since our employer has switched to Healthcomp getting a basic doctors visit covered has been a huge problem. My doctor waited 6 months to be paid. I had to keep calling health comp to find out why my claims were not being paid. They kept lying saying they were sending out the check, for 3 months they told me that until finally a manager called me back and told me the truth, my claims had never been assigned to anyone. Several of my coworkers have complained they were told different services weren't covered and they are. Anytime I need any type of care im always stressed now because it's so hard to get things paid out. Horrible customer service, Daniel at health comp was terrible and other coworkers also complained about his customer services skills!!!

Absolute joke of a provider/ administrator. Deny and delay everything, make you fill out forms that they say never got back to them and then deny your claim a week later for not filling it out, don't pick up the phone, don't answer the chats for months, and don't actually pay the providers even when the online EOB 'says' that it was paid months ago. HR says it's now normal to take 12 months to get a claim paid, and it's super fast if I can get it done in 8? Hello, providers need to be paid in 30-60 days, not a year later - providers send every member to collections then. But maybe that's HealthComp's shady goal to still collect our premium money and then not ever have to pay out claims. Any company that uses HealthComp as their administrator will eventually find their employees looking for employment elsewhere that has a real insurance provider.
