Pepper's

So this diner is the same as the one in Eureka, Arcata and McKinleyville. They are all terrible and over priced. And wall to wall carpet.

The hubby and I love this place! Our favorite server, Ms. Holly always meets us with our iced tea with lemons. The restaurant was just recently remodeled, and it looks great! Reminds me of the old 50 style touch and even has a pie show case! Which makes you want dessert. My husband loves the hand-scooped ice cream with the great flavor toppings and whipped cream, topped with a cherry! The restaurant is very family friendly and accommodates large groups with advanced notice. Why go anywhere else for great food and coffee! Check this place out in Fortuna!

Update: We returned to Pepper's again tonight. Joe and his Fortuna Pepper's Team were exceptional. True world class. As always, the food was perfect (Southern Dinner and Baked Lasagna) with chocolate cake for desert! I am here in Fortuna for a few weeks taking care of my father in-law who lost his wife to cancer last week. What really stands out at Pepper's for me is there attention to customer service. The team is uplifting and very customer focused. I will be a Pepper's customer for life. Sincerely - Mark Update: Joe, the owner of Pepper's called me immediately after my post. I greatly appreciated his effort to reach out to me directly from a customer service perspective. His focus was understanding the customer experience I had and what he could do to course correct the issue. Joe was receptive and a very good listener to my experience. He certainly made every effort to make it right. Based on his call I will return to Pepper's during my stay in Fortuna. Original Post: I am visiting Fortuna for a couple weeks. Tonight I placed by 5th order with Peppers for a "to go dinner". Of those, 3 of the orders were not what I ordered. When I finally called to complain, the receptionist said they would try to do better and hung up. Really! I expected a little better customer service, but they were not very concerned. Very disappointing. Recommend you make sure you check your to go order for accuracy. Mark
