Terrible experience here from the staff. They charged me $50 for a no show appointment when I actually showed up. The receptionist was so rude. Belittled me in front of other patients. Never going here ever again. Respect your patients.

I was super sick, so called in at the beginning of the week to reschedule my appointment (that was later that week). Without telling me, they charged $50 for rescheduling I guess they would've preferred me go into the office and get everyone sick?! I called and they wouldn't reverse the charge, saying that it is policy. They also constantly try to upsell during an appointments. Overall, they do not treat patients respectfully. I'll be finding another dental practice to go to. UPDATE: After enough escalation, I was able to get the reschedule charge reversed. I've bumped my rating up. Unfortunate it took so much effort, but glad they eventually came through.

I was scheduled at 2:50 pm today as a new patient at Emeryville location. I took an x-ray with other dentist on 12/21/23 and unable to get it to send it over to them bc the office was closed. I talked to them twice on the phone regarding the situation, they said no problem at all because it is free x-ray and free for the 1st visit. I don't have to pay anything nor my insurance. When I arrived to the office, the front desk told me that they need to bill my insurance for this visit because I have an insurance. The x-ray and the 1st visit is free only for people who doesn't have an insurance. It is raining outside, I am disable and on 3 wheels scooter and went out in the rain to keep my appointment. It ended up that I need to reschedule for other appointment if I don't want them to charge it on my credit card. Do you think I should come back? Update - today 12/28/23, I got an voicemail from them this afternoon and they informed me that I missed a yesterday appointment and wanted to follow up with me if I want to make another appointment with them. Unfortunately, there is no negative star on the comment that I can rate.
