Worst rental experience ever. This place has one pro, since it is closed on Sunday they have no choice but to give you that day for free. Everything else, all bad. Made the reservation at night thinking it was ok. Get a call in the morning saying they had to cancel and I needed to find somewhere. I chose this location because of proximity and the website let me put in a different location for return. Make another reservation at mission valley. That adds 12.4 miles to my total one way to return but whatever, I will deal. Guy in El Cajon says he has a truck, so I cancel Mission Valley and go with El Cajon. Get there the guy has a broken wrist with a hand swollen out of this world, why are you at work? Couldn't take some time off. I'm still trying to get in and out. Get to the part of returning the truck same day. Since they close at 12pm (really early unless you're the employee) I wanted to drop my rental off at a different location. I was told I could not do that and had to bring it back. I asked about over night drop off, not available. Due to vandalism and gas siphoning (which auto gate openers and auto gate to exit would fix). So not only am I now forced to keep this truck an extra day, I have drive this thing from Alpine to Santee, back to Mission Valley where I live and then back to El Cajon to drop it off on a Monday morning at 7 AM and be late for work. I was still calm until I went to drop it off and tell the person at the front what happened and she says, its only a 5 mile difference. Excuse me! And that I could have dropped it off in Santee! Misinformation is never good especially when it adds to the customers bill. That misinformation added about 25-30 miles on to my mileage fee and she didn't say anything but, " He knows you could've taken it back to Santee same day." Worst Penske experience ever.
