Little Acorn Nursery School

The atmosphere and teachers at Little Acorn have been so wonderful and provided a hugely positive learning and friendship environment for our daughter to grow.  We hope to have our second (now infant) child attend Little Acorn when she is ready. We have nothing but positive and wonderful things to say about everyone at Little Acorn and will always cherish and appreciate the time and memories we made while our oldest daughter was able to attend.

We love this school and are so grateful we found it and it's wonderful teacher, Ms. Marzia. Our shy 2 year old has blossomed into a confident, compassionate 4 year old during his time there. He's built friendships and gained skills that we know will benefit him in kindergarten and beyond. And all of this is fostered in a caring environment where kids are encouraged to play and explore all day. We just enrolled our second child, who's almost 2, because we trust Ms. Marzia and the other teachers to take excellent care of him. When searching for a daycare/preschool, we explored many other schools in the area, and Little Acorn was a no-brainer. Our kids love going to school there, and we love the community of teachers and families we've joined.

I can't emphasize enough how amazing Little Acorn has been for our daughter. She has progressed so much since starting earlier this year. We are so excited to have found this place and for our daughter to continue her early education here. We will be hoping to add another student or 2 in the futureThe teachers all love the kids very much and make sure to include structure along with all the fun they have! Highly recommend for all new parents!!

Ms. Marzia is the sweetest person Ive ever met. She is so calm and creates the most beautiful environment for kids to learn and grow. She is always learning more about brain development and adding new materials to teach with. She takes parent feedback into account like changing the school to all outdoors when Covid cases were surging. Ms. Marzia combines Montessori, Waldorf, and Reggio-Emilia teaching styles to make the best learning environment for little ones. I have seen many preschools as a former early childhood educator and this is by far the best Ive ever seen! My kids absolutely love it here.
