My personal opinion about Downey orthopedic doctors is this. Doctors do not give you options or advice on how to care for a shoulder injury. All they care about is the word "surgery". I believe they get paid well for every surgery they perform. Do they take into consideration the patient's feelings and concerns? I don't think so!I don't like to be pushed into having surgery at all! Surgery for shoulder or any other injury should be consider as last resort. I'm contemplating getting out of Kaiser and go to a different facility where doctors really care about their patients

I've was assigned to Dr Philliip Thomas off and it has the slowest processing I've ever seen and the front desk has horrible customer service. If my job didn't pay for it, I wouldn't go. The front desk is unorganized, waited 2 hours to see a doctor with a appointment. I don't even know where my next will be in 4 weeks. I've been going there since April and we have come to no resolution on my condition.
