I went in to switch carriers to get the iPhone 7 for $50, but the girl there said I had to pay full price for the phone right now ($350), and that 6 months later I'll be reimbursed, but the guy I spoke with yesterday from the same store had already told me I could get the phone for $50 as long as my carrier unlocked/released my phone. I ended up going to the Reedley Metro and they sold me the phone for the $50 (plus other fees) without mentioning any of the pay full price thing.
