Went here for dinner with my girlfriend. We ordered over $150 worth of food with a bottle of wine. The didn't have about 5 choices of wine we asked for on the menu but eventually found a bottle they had in stock. The food was decent but nothing impressive. We were mostly happy with sitting outside by the fireplace. What irriated me the most was that they refused to substitute a small side on the dish without even asking the chef, mind you we had already purchased an expensive bottle of wine. I wouldn't go back.

Favorite restaurant in DAVIS CA BY FAR!! has a great home feeling to it! The service is amazing. They have two great waiters that stand out. One is Jason who is excellent and is constantly checking to make sure everything is okay with the food and if you're sitting comfortably. Second is a woman in short blonde hair I can't remember her name she is very lovely and nice and always recommends the best! The store owners (Eva and her husband) are there a lot and they like to know the customers which is very awesome! The chicken shnitzel is what I always order but anything on their list is amazing! Definitely will recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to have an affordable with a fancy touch lunch or dinner.

First time at this restaurant and never been to Czech Republic. No one in the reviews speaks of the Czech gal that one would assume to be the owner's wife. She's not, but let her take care of you. Start with a proper Becherovka and the sampler platter. Mine had fried cauliflower, fried duck bites and a sausage. Out. Of. Sight. Didn't have the pleasure of meeting the owner.
