While I understand the mindset that hits when there's much to do with little time to do so... To not have anyone in the store acknowledge when a guests walks in... To let that guest look for and find their own item... To leave that guest standing in front of an empty register with no associates near for over five minutes which leaves the guest to hunt one down and be told "I'm sorry, I'll be with you in a moment" and never show up. Yes, I walked out and won't walk back in again. Ridiculous.

Three times in the last 2 months when I drove in from Southern California to help my daughter fix things in her UCD apartment, the folks at Aggie Ace Hardware went the extra mile to help solve my problems! From finding a single special sized hex wrench (instead of complete set), sending me on my way with a bolt, nut, and split washer combo using change from the counter change cup (instead of searching for bar codes and charging me 28 cents), to recommending the proper adhesive for a threaded insert for a table leg - all were really appreciated helpful acts that you just don't find in those big-box hardware stores anymore! I am very grateful for the friendly, helpful staff at this great local Aggie Ace Hardware. Your employees really are #1.!!!

I have to paint a bunch of shelves for my exhibition, but I could not figure out how to navigate the UX of the online store, since none of the results were delivering the products I needed. I called the store directly to ask for help, and Tony, the store manager, went above and beyond. He patiently answered my questions, especially when I told him this is my first time painting and I'm not sure what other equipment I needed, and he asked me really kindly about how often I would use it, do I need to reuse it, whether I was painting inside or outside. I came away with all the materials I needed, and it was all brought together for an easy store pickup! Thanks so much for making something potentially scary into a really pleasant and easy experience, thanks Tony!

Love the store and staff.  While it is small this is a plus if you are looking for a quick in and out.  Staff continually greets me at the door asking may I help you find anything.  No searching for someone, no pointing "oh its over there".  They seem to always know where the item is, and will take you to it.  This store is HUGE on good customer service, and it keeps me coming back.  Cashiers are friendly and more than once someone who is stocking opens up a second register to speed things along.  Love the stock of YETI items.   I lost my cap, no problem they have replacement pieces, everything one may need.Thank you to a great team.  I drive to Aggie over the downtown location because of your service.
