Yasmin was the grounding force that I needed to get through an ugly divorce. My ex-husband and I attempted mediation with another attorney and I thought everything was settled - it wasn't. Yasmin completely understood where I was financially as well as emotionally (I needed that to get through). She saw through the lies and manipulation and stood by me throughout the entire process of going to court several times. I'm very grateful for her work and her presence. I felt that Yasmine used bullying, intimidation and other non-skilled behavior on behalf of her client during a mediation session with myself and my lawyer. People say "you want a lawyer like that". No you don't. I recommend a lawyer who utilizes their skills to obtain a proper settlement. Yasmine was unwilling on behalf of her client to accept a very fair initial counter-offer. In the end, Yasmine's client was out a significant amount of money and I ended up with more than what I had asked for in that initial counter –offer. One day her intimidation and bullying may lead someone to self harm. I called her office to schedule an appointment to talk with her re: the tactics she used and how those tactics can be harmful. Her assistant told me I would have to pay for this type of consultation. There are many great lawyers in town, in fact many right across the parking lot from Yasmine.

Superb Family Law Practice.......Yasmin and her team provided excellent legal support, guidance, and up-front honesty in what I would classify as field-of-land-mines as it relates to moving through the divorce process which took over 4 years to complete. During this time Yasmin used her phenomenal experience in mediation and litigation which resulted in completing my divorce.
Yasmin provided important insight into what decisions would be needed and the impact of those decisions as it related to what would be needed to get through the legal system. My divorce was not straight forward which Yasmin help educate me of my rights and informed me so I could understand the steps needed to make appropriate decisions to dissolve the marriage.
Yasmin's Law Office is extremely knowledgeable, experienced and connected with the Yolo County Court System (and with the Davis Business Community) which was a major benefit on focusing on what's important to address the key issues needing resolution.
She understood my situation thoroughly and kept me abreast of what was needed and who to work with to resolve issues as we went to court four times over four years. Each time we went to court there was considerable effort putting together professional legal packets of information that was used during each trial. I was highly impressed how prepared Yasmin was ready for each court appearance and presented my situation with a clear understanding what was important to the Judge so informative decisions could be made.
