Dr. Mechaelian is wonderful, Im usually terrified going to get any kind of dental work. He is so kind and gentle, his nurse Cathy is an angel, she is so kind. They made me feel safe and cared for. Jasmine at the front is wonderful she explained my dental insurance and took great care of me. Overall a great experience.

Dr. Michaelian and Kathy did an outstanding job on my root canal. It was a relatively complex one requiring cleaning out three different channels which they were able to do in one visit while retaining the existing crown that I had. They work seamlessly as a team and procedure was very quick and efficient. There was very little pain the evening of the procedure and the following day there was none at all and there hasn't been since. They scored 10 out of 10 and did an A+ job and I will definitely go back there for any further endodontic needs and will be recommending them to anyone I know that requires that kind of work. Prior to the root canal I had a lot of pain and could not even eat oatmeal on that side of my mouth and thanks to them, in less than an hour that completely changed.

I had an upper back tooth that cracked and fell out earlier this month. My dentist said the tooth could be saved but, after reviewing my xrays, suggested I be cleared of having a root canal before he proceeded with a crown. My insurance company sent me a list of endodontists in my area and I chose Dr. Marshall J. Michaelian after reading about his experience and donated time to the Samaritan House. I had hoped he would find that I did not require a root canal as my anxiety, of course, was starting to set in upon arrival at my early morning appointment. After introducing himself and reviewing my info, Dr. Michaelian, without hesitation, said a root canal was necessary and not to worry...it would be painless. Huh? He and his technician then went about preparing me for the root canal and everything else that follows including his calling my dentist to confirm the go-ahead. I liked the music playing which helped me relax - soft jazz, spa-like, meditation babbling brook essence. He constantly updated me on what he was doing, the time each step would incur, made sure I was always comfortable, etc, etc. There was no pain, not even the 3 shots!!! I was in and out of there in about an hour and a half of fast time. My appointment went so smoothly starting with the kind/friendly reception, his assisting technician making everything comfortable for me - and his confident professionalism. Both he and reception said to call if I encountered any problems or had concerns; office even called me next morning as a courtesy. I will never be scared of having a root canal in the future. I will refer everyone and anyone in a root canal conversation to contact Dr. Michaelian. Again, no pain, no worries, everything went perfect.

I am typically a pretty "harsh" reviewer at times...so take that for what it's worth. Having said that, my expectations were far exceeded with Dr. Michaelian! I tend to ask too many questions - yet he answered them all, in great detail. He is clearly an expert at what he does, and I feel lucky to have found him. He was focused before, during and after my root canal. He's super impressive and I would highly recommend him to others!
