Maki Yaki

It's the best place to eat Japanese rolls in Cypress! It is so good and the price is fair for what you get. It doesn't look like the best place to have a restaurant, but the food is just so amazing and I totally recommend it.

We ate at Maki Yaki on Thursday evening, and I was pleasantly surprised. Some of the better restaurants I have been to have been a hole in the wall. And this is one of them, I would have never expected this gem. The service was good, the food was better than average, portions were also good. They include free Miso soup if you dine in, and it was just ok. The dressing on the salad was very good. we had the teriyaki beef and chicken (#58) and the meats were cooked well, but I didn't care for the teriyaki sauce as much as other restaurants or even store bought bottles. Will definitely eat there again and try other things on the menu.
