Ms. Carrick is an angel on earth. I feel she went above and beyond any care I have ever received concerning my pregnancy, labor,delivery and post natal care, the care for my goals-dreams-desires, she was concerned and honored my families position and cultural differences.
Sometimes I sit and read over the notes taken during labor the detail warms my heart. So precise and present she was yet like and fairy gracefully watching over me letting me take control and be one with my body and spirit. She was a guide to all of us. She was my voice when I was weak and held my hand when I was strong. She listened to me for hours on end at our pre-natal visits and met with me where ever I wanted to. Sometimes outside in my yard on a blanket because baby and I wanted to be in the 🌞. She was patient with my very active children who wanted to learn and touch everything in her bag during visits. She checked to make sure I was eating enough, resting enough, brought extra vitamins. She became part of our family forever and I miss her and think of her every time I look at my sweet baby girl Tana who is now a healthy happy demanding lol almost 2 year old. I would describe her as a saint honestly. I owe her the world and she never made me feel like I owed her anything. I would recommend anyone who wanted to have a safe homebirth with a skilled midwife to contact Carrick Childbirth Services. Thank you forever and always
