We moved our mother in last summer and we could not feel better about her new home. The staff is amazing. The personal touches and care for detail really have my mom feeling safe and secure. She smiles and jokes with the staff and when the subject of returning to her home comes up, she doesn't want to leave Vivante. Our plan is for this to be her permanent home. Thank you to the excellent leadership and staff for all of your great support for our mom.

My mother was moved out by medical transport. These people dont have a plan for people leaving. My mother is in a wheel chair and has dementia. They wheeled her out of her room to transport and put her on. They did not ask for keys or emergency beeper. They just left them on the back of wheel chair. They have been harassing her for these items since she left and wanted to charge her. I dont think that someone with dementia should know where these items are. The other big fault is that they let my mother live in a regular unit with out any nursing care. She fell down first day in and broke a hip. Was in Hoag for 4 weeks. My brother and zi who live out of state were. Not notified . Why? They did not check paperwork she filled out. She put garbage on the paper that was wrong. She was also moved in there by an aggressive realtor who did not tell us she was moving from her home. He hid it very well. So many bad things going on. These people were able to play along and say she did not have dementia so they could take advantage of her.

My 95-year-old mom, whos been at Vivante since early 2022, is very pleased to be living there. "They've picked wonderful people to be the staff," she said recently. "It makes such a difference." The care, kindness, and respect demonstrated by everyone on staff is genuine and that means so much to Mom, and to us her kids. She loves the gracious feeling those qualities bring to each day. She enjoys the excellent food, the good company of other residents, and the wide range of activities available. She appreciates the space itself, with the high ceilings, wide hallways, and natural light. She was pretty down when she first arrived, but in this environment shes bounced back and is again her cheerful self. From my side of things its terrific to walk in and be greeted warmly, be able to find managers easily (their offices are on the ground floor off the main hallway, and their doors are almost always open), to have every encounter with each person on staff be a pleasure. Everyones so responsive. My siblings and I are impressed, and grateful.
