Pine Brook Village

I liked Pinebrook Village while I lived there mostly. I was there for 2 years and I think I lucked out with neighbors because I didn't have any noise problems. The facilities are fairly well kept and the maintenance is great. The problem is the management. When I renewed my lease after the first year, the rent was raised $200!! That is unbelievable. And they don't budge on this. It makes you feel like they would rather get old tenants out (even though we were never late on a payment) and get new ones in. And I think I found out why. They really stick it to you when you leave. We had a pretty hefty cleaning fee, even though we cleaned the whole apartment and don't smoke and we were charged $100 for not returning the parking STICKERS they gave us. Not a parking pass that you hang, a non-reusable STICKER that you stick to you windshield. My roommate and I threw them away after we pulled them off our car because they got torn and were worthless. It's not like Pinebrook is near the beach or anything. No one would park there that doesn't live there. It's just another way they can scam you out of more money. So many residents leave being angry and bitter at the place.
