KB Concrete Staining

The cement looked great right after it was stained. But about 2 weeks later small areas started to turn black & flake off. I called Kevin & wanted to make arrangements for him to come and repair those spots. However he wanted to charge me an additional $1,000 to come & do the restain. I believed he'd warranty his work but I was very, very wrong. Learn from my mistake.

Kevin stained our patio, coping, waterfall and slide about 18 months ago. Sadly the stain is flaking off in many areas. The sealer on the slide failed after one summers use. The stain on the coping began flaking off in the first 6 months. He reluctantly came to re-apply another coat of sealer to the slide six months ago but never addressed the issues on the coping. Yesterday I noticed multiple more areas of the stain failing. It seems to me he used poor quality materials or did not prep the concrete correctly. Our original stain lasted 5+ years with no maintenance. Very disappointingwould not recommend.

KB Concrete Staining just finished 2 porches, a walkway and steps on our 1924 Spanish Revival that had been previously painted. The resulting finish was spectacular from nearly 100 year old concrete and we were very, very happy with the result it looks amazing. Good job!

Working with KB concrete was a great experience. Loved the way our backyard came out. Kevin, Dennis and Josh are very detail oriented and a huge help. They always arrived on time and let me know what the plan was for the day. I would definitely recommend working with KB concrete staining.

We purchased our house recently and wanted to refinish/re-stain/make pretty our nearly 15 year old cement patio so we could really enjoy our backyard. We got quotes for replacing the entire cement area as that's a project we're going to do eventually. Way too expensive for now. We then got several different quotes for staining and sealing our patio, and that's what we did. Kevin was the most professional, friendly and flexible of the people we contacted. He was the only one who brought actual samples, not just pictures or a snazzy brochure. His price was on the lower side of the middle, and that was fine by us. He should honestly charge more! It's hard to tell how nice this came out since it was just finished and it's an overcast day, but our patio looks amazing. The before photos show just how old and faded our cement was. Now, it looks like it's still wet. It's perfect and came out better than we hoped for.
