McCormick Ambulance Headquarters

On Tuesday may 16th, I experienced a bad health episode where i was having severe symptoms like i was having a heart attack. I called 911 and for the first time in my life I was transported by one of your ambulances to Little company of Mary hospital for my first ever ER visit. To say i was scared is an understatement. Your ambulance arrived very quickly. All three of your highly professional emts provided me unprecedented and highly professional medical care. All three were outstanding but your EMT Ali was especially wonderful. Throughout the ride to the hospital, he was constantly watching me and checking with me to see if i was ok. When arriving at the hospital he stayed by my side until they gave me a room and didn't leave until the ER nurses took over. He went above and beyond to ensure that i was ok. The other two EMTs were also excellent and should be commended as well, one was white and the other latino, sorry i do not know their names. All of them and especially Ali are great assets to your organization and I highly respect their efforts on my behalf, someone they didn't even know. Please commend them on my behalf and thank you for having such wonderful professional staff on your team. Since then I have gone through extensive tests and my doctor diagnosed me with GERD, which has similar symptoms as a heart attack and is easily treatable with change in diet and medication. Terrible...Terrible...Terrible!!!! Just in case it's not clear this company if horrible to deal with. I called 911 for an emergency and since then I keep receiving a $3,000 bill for a 5-minute ride to the hospital! Out of network they say, like you have the choice when you call 911. They over charge and keep getting at you until you are down. These people are not heroes, they are a scam and part of a broken system! Shame on you and stop making us believe you care about people! Shame on you!!!!

They keep billing me $2900! I have health insurance and have submitted my Heath insurance 8 times!!! EIGHT TIMES. My health insurance should cover the entire ambulance ride! And even my health insurance called them and then they keep saying they either dont have it or its not valid. What a joke! Im stressing out so much because of this. Im getting letters and texts and emails every 5 days. They had a birthday wrong and my address wrong when I first contacted them This is so wrong! The people who you talk to on the phone are 3rd party operators from India. They dont care about you. They keep saying Ill get a letter with a review of my insurance and nothing! This has been going on for months and months. Really upset. I dont know what to do. If collections comes after me, Im going to consider it harassment and sue them for distress at this point.

Great Service ! Tom Donahue and Lawrence Breen (1602 C - Shift) assisted a 911 for my 88 year old mother. Gill - you should be proud of both these young men. both did a outstanding job in caring for my mother!

Just wanna give a huge shout out to Isaac, Bobby Leon and Carly. I was in complete despair and these angels lit a beacon in the darkness and showed me hope. As a fellow health care worker, I commend this crew for being the absolute best of the best! Bar none!!! I hope that they are bestowed the highest honors and pay rates that the company could possibly offer to them. Keep up the great work guys! Thank you for saving me from the clutches of doom!!!
