The Gastro Grill Restaurant

I was going through Yelp and found this place. It had really good reviews so I talked the wife into going out and trying it. Well, the seating was a little uncomfortable with their steel chairs I would have liked to sit in a booth with some cushy seats. When we got our drinks and the menu let me tell you the sticker shock was real. Their prices were to high for the lack of flavor of their food. Everything smelled great but knew it got to the table it all had this but grease taste but other than that it was all bland. The only thing that had really good flavor was the pork belly fries which were like 15 bucks by the way. At the end of our meal I tried to order desert but everytime I picked something the waitress was like oh we dont have that or that's seasonal. When I finally decided on something she went to the kitchen just to come back out and tell me they ran out. I really wanted to like this place I really did but for me it fell short. I felt robbed and dissapointed, I would suggest trying one of the other great places in old town clovis and spare yourself the disappointment that is the gastro grill...

Food was delicious👌, service great, and owner came out to speak to each individual table. Can't wait to dig into my leftovers!

The best place to get a casual dining experience in town. The food here is the best I've had outside of Vegas. I highly recommend The Hangover burger. While Eureka Burger may have a slightly better beer selection this place beats them hands down on food, I'd say it's bar none the best place for a burger in the greater Fresno area.

Always amazing service and food! They do not shy away from a bit more creative flavor combinations. Theirs are the type of dishes I have only seen in the Bay Area or SoCal.

Really good and fresh food. Some interesting flavor combinations that sound exciting. We split two shrimp tacos and two beef sliders for a perfect mix n match meal. Great service!
