Details huh? Ok. First time I went:
I walk in looking for handlebars and the owner dude calmly asked what they were for. “A moped,” I say.
I was prepared for the condescension that particular sentence usually elicits from the motorcycle gurus I have had the pleasure to briefly talk to.
Instead. He tells me where they are AND that I could look through them all at my leisure, returning to him when I was ready to pay. Simply incredible. You cannot see much from the front because of the use of vertical space, so you must bend a corner..
When I did.
What can I say. I heard the voice of Ace Ventura as he found peace within the monastery.
I cannot possibly exaggerate this.
Gas tanks. Seats. Blinkers. Pegs. Stacked to the ceiling more carefully then anything in your attic and way cleaner. And I haven’t seen your attic.
By the time I get to the handlebars, I had decided to build 3 other bikes and to stop my current project. By the time I SAW all the different handlebars though, I, of course, decided to finish first.
That was the first of many trips. I write this as I look through a box of 12 volt led blinkers I got from them years ago and now need. I couldn’t pass them up even though at the time, I was all about 6 volts. I haven’t been in years and they still come through.
