I should believe those 1 star reviewers, ALL FOOD SUPER SALTY AND TASTE BAD. And they charge extra $1.75 for crispy noodle usually is $0 - $1.00

I go there a lot, since I work not too far. I order the tofu sandwich, with extra tofu. Their peanut sauce is amazing, their sandwiches are good, and not expensive, and they fill me up. I don't even have to order anymore, they just see me, recognize me, and put the order through! My friends order the chicken pho most of the time, and there's so much to eat that they usually take the rest home for dinner. They are very nice, accommodating, and I hope that they're not closed (their front door has been closed with a sign for the past week....!)

Vietnamese on the go. When we think Vietnamese for we think pho and that's not something that can be eaten on the run, but in reality the spring rolls, egg rolls and bahn mi are much more suited for the grab and go lunch crowd of the more corporate areas of Carlsbad. The booming Bressi ranch area takes some of the punch that Loker stores had because of the proximity. Starbucks, Island Brothers, Staples and other places brought people here, but it's doubtful people came her specifically for the pho because Carlsbad is chalk full of pho......It's actually the only pho in Carlsbad, while Vista and Oceanside have quite a few each. It's small and designed more like a Tap X than a traditional Vietnamese restaurant. The bahn mi's are a little fragile, but pretty large, decent flavor, but could use real pate and more pickled carrots. Geared a little more towards the western palate by not using head cheese. Egg rolls are pretty good albeit extremely hot. Tightly rolled, flavorful meat, fried a little too hot. Worth the slitghly more expensive cost. Dipping sauce was a little weak. Spring rolls were pretty large also, but not tightly rolled enough and will fall apart. Peanut infused dipping sauce is good, nice and thick, but needs more fish sauce. I like the drinks more than the food and if your craving Vietnamese and you can't make it to Oceanside or Vista or San Marcos I would come here. There is no competition so probably not that much need for improvement. I just hope people don't think it's excellent. Service is only ok and since it's not a traditional sit down restaurant it's not like you have table service either, which makes it extra mediocre. Prices are high considering in parts of OC I can get a large special combo, drink, spring rolls and dessert and a 20% tip for under $15. I don't' see myself needing pho or Vietnamese food so bad that I would eat here and not just trek north or south for considerably better.

The pho soup had no flavor and the chicken was very dry. If you are trying to find a pho place this is not it. I recommend Yummy Yummy Pho a whole lot better and cleaner. There was a cockroach crawling on the floor as I was leaving.....that sealed this place faith. Though the smoothie I had wasn't bad I didn't get it until I was half way done eatting.
