Labree Motor Sport

Didn't know any shops for exhaust, found this one online. Went prepared to pay and do a job, asked a bunch of questions because I like things to be perfect when doing a custom job, The person there literally started yelling at me, LOUD yelling and CURSING, I actually got scared as if this person was going to hit me or attack me. I left right away, Do not ever go to these people. I have never had an experience where someone started to yell at me for no reason... I was SHOCKED, the most unbelievable response I have ever gotten, not only was it ridiculously unprofessional, I felt wronged and scared. Nevertheless I left and found a different shop which worked on my car no problem.

I have taken two of my vehicles to Brent and staff. A 1995 3000GT, and a 2005 Magnum RT. Both vehicles had Magnaflow cat back systems bolted in (some custom work on the 3KGT). Everything was nicely done, clean, and efficient. Couldn't have asked for better service, parts, and labor. To top it off, Brent charged waaaay less than other places I shopped around for (Especially for the custom work needing to be done on the 3KGT)...I personally didn't want some boisterous, greasy guy who barely speaks English, or a money grabber working on my precious vehicles. I trusted them both with Brent at Labree..

I wanted the exhaust custom routed through a hole in the rear bumper of my 2012 Toyota Tacoma, and Greg at Labree, did a great job. It took some really creative compound angle tube bending and surgical cutting to make it fit, as the clearances were ~very~ close and the route was anything but a straight shot. The positioning is perfect. The pipe doesn't rattle and everything is tucked in neat and secure under the truck. The guy is an artist! If you need any high quality custom mandrel bent exhaust work done, this is the place to go.

I normally do not write reviews and often put little weight into reviews that do not actually review the product. That being said this review in no way represents the product offered. The reason being is that as I have not yet received it after placing the order for a $1500 bolt on cat-back exhaust 4 months ago. I called and talked to a very nice and accommodating lady, and she mentioned that there were technical difficulties and repairs the shop needed to make regarding equipment and that a time frame was not possible. I was unaware of any other vendors that offered a similar product so I felt I had no choice but to wait. I called after each month passed inquiring for any updates or a time frame, still the same: "Were a mom-and pop shop and really busy, can't give a time frame." After 4 months I called the online dealer that I placed the order to check the status and they said it would be at least another 2-3 weeks and that that was probably wishful thinking. They mentioned there were other vendors like B&B that offer a similar product, that would have me the product in 2-3 weeks. Realizing I had other options I since cancelled my order instead of waiting an undetermined amount of time hoping that one day the product may show, but realizing that it probably wasn't going to any time soon. This is a review to let others in the same position or contemplating an order there is SIGNIFICANT wait times, which at the time of my order were underestimated. If that's not a problem then I am confident Labree offers a great product. However there are other options and I would recommend investigating before making the commitment to a significant wait. Hopefully Labree will catch up soon and this negative review will be history.
