Market City Caffe

Went to art event. Nice set up. Minor venders were a poor case because they would get mad if we didn't buy anything. But most of them were engaging. Artist were very talented.

Not sure why I skipped this place for the past 10-12 years coming to Burbank. The food is good and the service is great. The breadsticks are a bit oily but they are soo good. Greek Salad with Chicken was more than fantastic. The waiters were really good and the manager came by and asked if we needed anything. Cool vibe. I’d come back.

Food was delicious. Lots of flavor. I had the lamb ragu and the bruschetta. Got sat quickly on a Friday night. Server(Leila) was nice and attentive. Atmosphere is nice and cozy. A real family feel. Definitely will go back to try the rest of the menu.

Nice place with a cozy kind of feel. We had a party of 8 and the staff was friendly and attentive. The food came out in a decent amount of time. Menu mostly appeared to be pasta. They offer free fresh bread with oil and vinegar.

So where should I begin. Let's start with the hostess if only she had a little life left in her. Her cold and unemotional demeanor set the mood for our epically failure of a nice Saturday lunch. As she took us to the patio, we had our choice of seating outside, though this option was limited as most table had dirty dishes and cups still waiting to be cleared off. Once we sat, it was a pleasant 10 minutes before we were acknowledged by our tattooed server, who seemed unenthusiastic that she had to work on such a nice Saturday afternoon. She plopped down two cups of water and a cup with two bread sticks and walked away. She seemed preoccupied by the lack of customers in the restaurant that she didn't even notice we were missing out place settings. After a few minutes she returned to ask for our order, as we asked to sample the wine and beer of out choice, she did not seem very thrilled that were were requesting tasters. The walk to the kitchen must be too long. Finally came back with the tasters and we ordered our drinks and choose the salad bar for our entree. We asked for our place setting which made us feel as though we were inconveniencing her. While we're out getting the salads, when we returned to our table the bottle of balsamic vinaigrette had disappeared. When we asked the server for it, she blamed the bus boy. Needless to say, you can get a sense of the service at this establishment. The food is mediocre at best.
