I would look elsewhere. Pay a few hundred dollars extra per month if you have to for a newer, cleaner apartment - even if it means not as central of a location as 303 is to Burbank Town Center. Management said there was no mold nor asbestos. However, I had shortness of breath and a dry cough which didn't go away till I would leave the apartment. This is especially concerning since I have asthma. I aired it out as per their recommendation for several days. Dingy smell and shortness of breath kept coming back. Underneath kitchen sink had a particularly bad smell. Management keeps on saying there's no smell nor mold. Mold maybe. Smell definitely. They'll say "air it out". This simply doesn't work. Finally they asked if I would like to break my lease. Do I have a choice since this is a health risk? Will I get any financial forgiveness on the lease break fee? No and no. I did not feel a sense of compassion about the costs (financial, time, stress, etc.) during this process as I was paying rent for the apartment even though I couldn't live in it. When you rent from an apartment, you expect to pay rent for the basic exchange of being able to stay there. I am not able to stay there for health concerns (being an asthmatic), and yet I was of course still expected to pay in full. I will give it an extra star (total 2 stars out of 5) because the location is decent for walking. However, parking is not great. It's "covered" as in your car is underneath covering, but it's not gated. You have to pull in and back out into the street which is cumbersome. Summary: I do not recommend 303.
