I can't believe that a bank operates the way that this location does. I went it to the location on Glenoaks Blvd on Tuesday. There was one guy sitting in an enclosed office on his cell phone, clearly had it on speaker and was chatting away looking around the bank. There were two people working behind the counter, one person in the bank being helped and me. Both employees were helping the woman at the counter for about 10 minutes. Not one asked me if I needed help or acknowledged that I was standing there. I was finally told, "we will be with you in a moment". After I was standing there for 15 minutes, they finally ask me to come to the teller only to tell me, "I'm sorry you had to wait this long for me to tell you this, but to open a business account you have to make an appointment and the guy isn't here today. Can I take your information and he will call you later today". Sure, whatever I'll wait for the call. Never heard from him Tuesday. Never heard from him Wednesday, and never heard from him on Thursday morning. I called Thursday late afternoon asking for the POC to speak to since I have not heard from him. The same woman asks me for my information AGAIN and told me that Alex will call me first thing in the morning tomorrow. Guess what...it's tomorrow and I haven't heard from Alex. I called at 9:30am asking to speak with Alex. Alex isn't even at work yet. At this point I don't want to open a business account with Union Bank. How can I trust them with my money if they can't even hire a reliable employee? Poor customer service, poor communication, and awful taste in employment. This place needs a consultant to come in and completely revamp how they do business.

I received  a letter from union bank to open a account and receive a opening bonus so i decide to open it even tho i have accounts at bank of america, wells fargo, chase, and bank of the west. Closes union bank was near my house on glen oaks so i decide to go to that branch. I entered the bank at 4:50 the doors were open. Had paper in hand and there was no customers. I told them i wanted to open account. They told me sorry we are closing in the minutes and we cant do that for you. Wow i was under the impression that if the bank doors are open they would help the customer that was there. Adding insult to injury they tell me that they can make a appointment for tomorrow. ( REALLY ) all the accounts that i have at other banks never have i had this kind of service. I remember 1 time the bank closed and i was there and i told them i will come another day. They said no we will finish servicing you, you are already here.Makes me think should i even open this account, if they are a problem from the get go.
