I signed with Progressive through Lisa Poole Insurance Agency and called Progressive to send a tow truck to tow my scooter that would not start. The truck arrived, and the driver warned me that Progressive would only cover 15 miles of the tow. The tow was 38 miles to a place I specifed. I called Lisa to ask her if I was covered for more than 15 miles. She advised me that Progressive was supposed to advise me of an authorized service provider for my scooter and cover the entire tow to that authorized service provider. I explained to Lisa how my situation differed. She wrote a letter to Progressive stating the situation and I was refunded $184 dollars for the tow by Progressive.
