      image The restaurant is pretty small, so reservations are probably wise for dinner. Nevertheless we showed up late (8:45) on a Friday and had no trouble getting a table.
      Friendly service, and a menu that's not large but filled with interesting items with a North-African flair. The food we tried was delicately spiced, appetizers in particular. Prices are a bit on the high side given the size of the portions but can be forgiven given the quality of the cuisine.

      image Excellent Mediterranean food, some of the best I've had in the Bay Area. I was there for lunch and had a vegetarian dish that was really tasty. Nicely spiced and carefully prepared. I suspect the dinners are also great.

      image Love that they use organic everything here, and the food is definitely good here. They also offer catering, but i haven't actually used that service. Zatar was voted "Best Middle Eastern" and Best Mediterranean" Restaurant by Bay Area A List voters in 2014.
