AKEMI Japanese Restaurant provided a dining experience that left me with mixed feelings, resulting in a three-star rating. While there were aspects of my visit that were enjoyable, there were also areas that fell short of expectations. The highlight of the dining experience at AKEMI was the quality of the sushi. The fish was fresh, and the presentation was aesthetically pleasing. The flavors of the sushi were well-balanced and satisfying. However, the service at AKEMI was disappointing. The staff appeared overwhelmed and inattentive, resulting in slow service and delayed responses to requests. There was a lack of attention to detail in terms of refilling drinks and addressing customer needs.

The food is good but the service is pretty bad. They don't answer the phone and the mailbox is full. I suspect they are short staffed as many places are but it's too bad. Next time I'm going someplace else
