Dr. Colvin of The Berkley Join Chiropractic is THE BEST CHIROPRACTOR I've ever been to in my entire life. Context - I entered chiropractic care at about 22 years old - am 40.5 now. 9 years ago pain from skeletal issues would get so bad that I would be unable to get out of bed for 4-5 days in a row. I believe it is fair to say I know what I am talking about when I say that Dr. Colvin IS TRULY THE BEST chiropractor. He also gives FANTASTIC life advice if you ask while you're on his table. I actually asked him to open a new business line "life advice by Dr. Colvin" on Friday - this coming after going to see him for about 1.5 years now getting adjusted and listening to his words. Being consistent in going to get adjustments by Dr. Colvin has been solving lifelong issues for me. HIGHLY recommend him.

Dr. Laurent Colvin comes off as a condescending know it all.
Dr. Laurent Colvin spoke down to me as if he had a thorough understanding of my pain history, when in fact it was our first time meeting, and he had read my profile for perhaps a whole 2 minutes. When I was sharing my current state of pain, how I might try to start PT as well, and the effects from the previous session, he asked "Did you expect all the pain to go away immediately?". I have been on a chiropractic care plan for 12 sessions at a private practice before, so I have a good understanding of what to expect, the benefits, and the timeline of results. Yet he spent the rest of the session condescendingly explaining how it works. Once again, without having a complete understanding of my history. For women especially, this feels invalidating, belittling, and thus infuriating. I hope others haven't experienced the same, but I can't help but wonder if Dr. Colvin treats many young poc women this way.
That experience was 1 star because atleast I did get adjusted (in which what do you know the pain went away immediately) but because the receptionist and other Dr (woman, red hair) were great I give a 3 star rating. I already spoke to the receptionist about my grievances immediately after and had asked him to pass the message. I won't be coming back, and I hope to be a forgotten face. The doctors at other locations have better people skills.

Dr. Colvin is a fantastic chiropractor, thorough in identifying the issues and then adjusting with the right amount of pressure. Really knows his stuff and knocked out some annoying, lingering issues.

Dr. Colvin has poor table side manners does not listen to the request of his patients and because so he hurt my knee and overrate rotated my hip despite me telling him no no no use the activator he insisted on doing it his way by pulling my knee and using his whole body force on my hip
His actions he over rotated my hip, causing more pain than Im experiencing the past nine months of going to a different joint chiropractor doctor
I am now required to go to different chiropractors several times a week to try to correct the damage that he did then he falsified the documentation to state he only used activator when in fact another doctor the office iced my back and then use the activator to correct the over rotation that he made by putting his whole weight on my hip and using the drop table when I told him no and to not do it he did it any way because he has a God complex. He should pay for every visit that I need to correct what he did to me. Instead he chose to cover it up.
If you are a person of color I would not recommend you going there because he doesnt listen to our concerns which further broadens the healthcare disparities that we experience when doctors dont listen to what we say we need they hurt us. I walked out having more pain, when I came in.
